Friends & Crows

Listen to Friends & Crows by Aboki CleDre on #SoundCloud

Don’t let them see you down

Don’t let them see you cry

Deprive them the pleasure of seeing your tear roll down your eye

Fear not friends who talk behind your back

Fear friends who stab you in the dark with poison bamboo arrows

They come add silent as the night

And go through your back and out your chest

The pain and bleeding doesn’t kill you

It’s the poison that makes you blue

It soars through your blood and veins then cripples your heart

And in my final moments, I see, I see clearly

I see my friends, clothed in Crows

In black funeral clothes

I stop gasping for air and steady my breathing so I can live a little longer

Then there comes this crow, hoping on my lifeless corpse and aims for my eye

It sends a signal

Calling his other friends to come feast on my soul

Nobody sees my pain

Nobody feels my pain

Except the friend who shot me with the bow and arrow
