Someday

Author- EL

So I asked Dad;

“Why are you tame sometimes?”

His reply weirdly puts me to shame.

He says; “Someday, you’ll understand ‘me princess’ – with a grin on his cheeks”.

Then I begin to wonder,

why not now Daddy?

His answer seems understandable now.

Sometimes ourdays ooze with smiles-

other days feel like you’ve been injured in a smash

which caused a gash-

ouch!! right..?

Probably, you wish

you had the power to turn back time

or better still, you wish

you could read into the future,

just as a meteorologist reads the weather.

Someday you will definitely rise up

and push against the wind that pulls.

We always try to look

but it seems had to see.

We try to rearrange our lives

trying to change,

forgetting that the more we

try to change,

we end up falling back.

So here’s a piece of advice.

“Never Give Up.”

Keep on trying hard.

Try harder if hard isn’t enough to pull you through.

Till you reach your dreams and,

achieve your goals,

don’t give up on life.

Know that,

“Somedays are always better than others.”

So,

keep your thoughts positive-

always and forever!
